Announcing Sophia Grace Rozeboom!
Margaret's Post:
Baby Sophia Rozeboom was born just after 8.00 am today after an incredibly short (five and a half hour) labor. Laura did brilliantly. So did Mark, of course. She is 7 pounds 11 ounces and 20 inches long. She has wavy dark hair. It was wonderful to be there for the whole event.
The Doctor Does Not Labor At This Hour...
Called the doctor at 5 a.m.
Boy, was he tired.
He says keep at it another hour.
Hmm, I suspect his shift is over then...

"False" Labor
False labor pains have started up around 2:20 a.m...
They need to come up with another name for that because "False" doesn't make the labor pains any less painful!....

I Hope She Likes Sugar
We're busy counting the days and the baby kicks until Sophia Grace is born.
Her initials, SGR, is partly inspired by that Archies song "Sugar, Sugar":
Sugar, sugar
da da Da da Da da,
Honey, honey
da da Da da Da da,
You are my candy girl...
(I've been singing it to her. I hope she likes it.)
